Spaghetti bolognese is a classic Italian meal that can be easly adapted to accomodate both GF and vegan requirments.
I have adapted this meal so many times, each time different yet super tasty.
Mince style bolognese doesn’t have to be served with spaghetti it can added to many different side and it perfect on to of a jacket potato!

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients: Method:
- 100g GF mince vegan/vegitarian, I tend to use The Meat alternative beef style mince
- 250g puy lentils, I use Merchants
- 1 carrot chopped into small chunks
- 1 red onion choped up small
- 500g pasata
- 1 Tbsp chosen oil
- 2 garlic cloves chopped fine
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- salt and pepper to taste
Put the oil in a large pan, add the onions and cook until sofened
In another pan add boiling water to the carrots and cook till soft
Add the pasata, tomato paste, garlic, onion powder, salt & pepper and cooked carrots to the onions
Cook for 2-3 minutes
Add the mince and cook for 10 minutes
Add the puy lentils and cook for a futher 5 minutes or until hot
